First Danish submarine nearly completed according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1909-1910 no. 4

An item reported that the first Danish submarine was to be completed on short notice and able to attend the summer manoeuvres. She was called Dijkker and built by the Italian firm Fiat San Giorgio at Spezia. The building costs of 460.000 crones were financed by selling aged material. Her very small range caused that she could b used only for coastal defence purposes.
