An item reported that at the Russian Baltic shipyard at St. Petersburg the torpedo depot ship Amoer [Dutch spelling] was launched on 29 July. With a displacement of 2.926 tons were the dimensions 97,8 x 14 x 4,41 metres. The engines and the Belleville boilers supplied 4.700 ihp allowing a speed of 17 miles and with a coal bunker capacity of 580 ton had she a range of 2.000 nautical miles. The armament consisted of 12cm quick firing guns.
