Floating dry dock being built for Olongapo according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1896-1897 no. 10
An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht that a floating dry dock was built destined for the harbour of Olongapo, Phillipines with as dimensions 138 x 35 x 11,8 metres. The sides were to be steel-built placed on 6 iron-built pontoons with a height of 4 metres. Ships wit a maximum tonnage of 12.000 tons could be docked. Four pumps were cable to pump out in 2 hours 12.000 tons of water.
