British naval base at Scapa Flow again blockaded according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland evening edition dated 5 January 1940

Two Australian engineers who arrived at New York, USA said that the British naval base was totally blocked by scuttling at least 20 old ships each of around 10,000 tons. This was a result of the sinking of the Royal Oak last October.(1)
