British tanker Chesapeake (1928-1950), Esso Aberdeen 1950-1953)


ON number 148155 and ID number 1148155. Built in 1928 at the shipyard of Workman, Clark&Company Limited, Belfast, Ireland with yard number 494 for account of the Anglo-American Oil Company. Fitted out with one 8S68 Sulzer 3.500 hp engine while driving a single crew allowing a speed of 11,5 knots. Gross register tonnage 8.955 tons and as dimensions 476,8 x 63,8 feet.
