Fast Italian cruiser Trento according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad evening edition dated 22 March 1929

The Italian cruiser Trento had recently her speed trials. During the measured mile off Spezia was her maximum speed 38,1 miles. It was expected that her speed in actual service was to be more as 37 miles. Together with her sister ship Trieste was she the first modern cruiser of the 10,000 tons type as a result of the Washington Naval Treaty.
