Of the Chungmugong Yi Sun-shin class destroyers project KDX-II. Displacement 4.500 tonnes/4.429 long tons (standard)-5.520 tonnes/5.433 long tons (full load) and as dimensions 150 x 17,4 x 9,5 metres or 492‘2“x 57‘1“x 31‘2“. Speed 29 knots. Her crew numbers 300 men. She can carry 2 Super Lynx helicopters with her. The armament consists of 1-32cell strike-length Mk41 VLS to be loaded with SM-2 Block IIIA air defence missiles, 1-21 round RAM inner-layer defence missile launcher, 1-3cm Goalkeeper, 1-12,7cm gun, 8-Harpoon anti-ship missiles and 2x3-32,4cm anti-submarine torpedo tubes. Launched on 12 November 2003 at the shipyard of Daewoo Shipbuilding&Marine Engineering, and commissioned on 30 June 2005.
