Keel laid down of a merchant ship at the Commercie Compagnie yard at Middelburg according to the Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Courant dated 26 February 1839

At the yard of the Commercie Compagnie at Middelburg was on 21 February the keel laid down of a bark ship of 500 tons built for account of Boddaert en Co. for the trade shipping towards Surinam.
