The Portuguese navy according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 23 May 1826

Lisbon, 3 May. The frigate Lealdade (1) was being repaired at Rio Janeiro before she returned towards Lisbon. The ship of the line Dom Joao VI left Lisbon for Brazil, escorted by two British frigates.
