Dutch bucket dredger Indramajoe built in 1898 at Haarlem, Netherlands

Built by the shipyard Conrad at Haarlem, Netherlands in 1898 with yard number 192 for account of the Dutch government to be used in the harbour works of Tandjong Priok, Dutch East Indies. Dimensions (between perpendiculars) x 6,6 x 2,75 (depth) metres. With a hour capacity of 120 cubic metres using buckets of 0,21 cubic metres capacity. Horsepower 180 ihp.

The Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 26 August 1898 reported her departure from Amsterdam on 1 April and her arrival at her destination was expected against the end of August after a voyage of five months. Underway she had twice (engines) problems and was berthed at Gibraltar during 20 days and later for some weeks in May at Port Saïd. Her crew was after her arrival to return to the Netherlands. The newspaper De locomotief dated 28 September reported that her crew was protesting and refusing to stay on board of the trip Aden-Batavia.
