Dutch merchant ships and the Austrian, British, French and Swedish navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 23 June 1841

Smyrna, 21 May. The arrival of the Dutch merchant ships Herstelling, Archipel, Brisies, Onderneming, Amstel and the Jonge Maria was expected. In the port were the British and French ships Dido and Alcibiade. The Austrian rear admiral baron Bandiera was expected back from his voyage in the Archipelago. The Swedish squadron should have been returned to Malta.
