Movements of the Greek and Turkish navies according to the Dutch newspaper Goessche Courant dated 25 June 1821

Private letters coming from several harbours in the Adriatic and Livorno dated 3 June reported that a Greek fleet of 72 vessels passed the Dardanelles. Seven vessels were destroyed by the guns of the Turkish forts, the remaining vessels sailed towards Lampsacus and Gallipoli and from there to the sea of Marmora for cruising off Constantinople.
