Naval operations of the Dutch East Company at Timor according to the Generale Missive dated 10 January 1741

The yacht Jacob Willem and a civilian vessel transport from this factory letters dated 31 May and 7 September. The cargo with a value of fl. 8308, including fl. 1241 of gifts from the native rulers, existed of 16870 lb was, 3 5/9 last green katjangs, 2 slaves and 500 lb snake wood. To the ruler of Thie were 2 guns with 50 balls presented to assist him against the people of Ndaomane. The guns originally belonged to the in 1719 at Timor wrecked sloop Jambi.
