The naval strength of the Dutch East Company in service at Ternate 31 August 1786

Is the galwet identical with the quel or kwelpaert/quelpaert?
2-mast chialoup Langmoedigheid, built 1778 and since 1799 in service at this station. Dimensions 72’(prow) x 20’ x 9’, armed with 3 iron 6pdrs, 7 iron 3pdrs, 6 metal (bronze) 1pdr swivels. Recently fitted out with a new cat-head and a ‘blaasbalk’, caulked and now in good condition. Underway towards Parigie.
2-mast chialoup Manado, built 1779 and since 1780 in service at this station. Dimensions 75’ (prow) x 20’ x 9’, armed with 4 iron 4pdrs, 6 iron 3 pdrs, 8 metal (bronze) 1pdr swivels. Was being repaired at the shipyard.
pantjalang Kruijzer, built 1777 and since 1778 in service at this staion. Dimensions 66’ (prow) x 14½’x 8’, 2-iron 4pdrs, 8 iron 3pdrs,4 metal (bronzen) 1pdr swivels and 4 metal (bronze) ¾ pdr swivels. Is to expected to return any moment from Manado.
pantjalang Windhond, built 1778 and since 1780 in service at this station. Dimensions 70’4” (prow) x 17’4”z 7’3”, armed qith 2 iron 4pdrs, 2 iron 3pdrs and 6 metal (bronze) 1pdr swivels. Is to expected to return any moment from Manado.
pantjalang Tidore, built 1784 and since 1785 in service at this station. Dimensions 71’ (prow) x 18’ x 8¼’, 8 iron 2pdrs and 12 iron 1pdr swivels. Is to expected to return any moment from Manado.
galwet Arend, built 1784 and since 1785 in service at this station. Dimensions 56’ (prow) x 15½’ x 5, armed with 2 iron 3pdrs and 8 iron 2pdrs. In good condition and under way towards Batchian.
galwet Raaf, built 1784 and since 1785 in service at this station. Dimensions 56’ (prow) x 15½’ x 5, armed with 2 iron 3pdrs and 8 iron 2pdrs. Recently fitted out with a new mainmast and now in good condition .
galwet Exter, built 1784 and since 1785 in service at this station. Dimensions 56’ (prow) x 15’ x 4½’, armed with 2 iron 3pdrs and 8 iron 2 pdrs. Was at the shipyard to be fitted out with a new mainmast and to be caulked.
