Whalers of Peterhead were successful according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 2 November 1824

London, United Kingdom, 29 October. The whaler Yuatan returned from Davis Strait at Aberdeen with the tiding that the catch was more successful as first was to be expected. The ships of Peterhead found many whales and each whaler at least catch 10 whales.
