An item reported that the Belgian cabinet sold the fleet of forty tugs of the T.E.I to the Pleuvier group at Antwerp for 2.500.000 francs. The main conditions was that at least 20 tugs were available for the line Antwerp-Dordrecht-Antwerp for towing ships to and from the Elzas. The towage service stayed free although the costs were compensated to Pleuvier by the Belgian government.
