American whaler Sunbeam now used for mackerel fishery according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 22 December 1863

An item reported that the schooner Sunbeam of Sipplean was sold for 3.000 US dollars to interests in Plymouth who used her instead for whaling for the mackerel fishery.
