Auxiliary vessel with as main tasks fishery patrol, pollution prevention and custom guard. Laid down in 1979 and lunched in 1980 at the Karlskronavarvet, Karlskrona, Sweden as the Swedish coast guard vessel KBV 171. In 2000 sold to the Belgian government and commissioned on 24 June 2000 with as homeport Zeebrugge, Belgium. Motto Per Dura et Aspera. Displacement 378 tons and as dimensions 49,90 x 8,52 x 2,9 metres. The horsepower of 2.240 hp allows a speed of 18,42 knots and a range of 3.000 nautical miles. Her crew numbers 13 persons. In Swedish service was her displacement 335 (standard)-375 (full load) tons with as dimensions 50 x 8,5 x 2,4 metres or 164’ x 27.9’ x 7.9’. Her crew numbers then 9 persons and she could be armed with 1-20cm Oerlikon gun and further more had se mining capability. Her building was ordered in 1978. Her GRP hull is identical to the Swedish navy Landsort-class.
