An item dated Vlissingen, Netherlands the 10th reported the arrival of the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Triton (1)commanded by Van Son coming from Texel, Netherlands with sailors of the ship of the line Zr.Ms. Zeeuw embarked on board. The edition dated the 14th reported her departure a day earlier back to Texel.(2)

Displacement 3.245 tons, dimensions 57,5 (between perpendiculars) x 14,9 x 6,46 (fore)-7,12 (aft) metres, sail areas 2.327 square metres, an armament of 84 guns and a crew numbering 700 men.
