Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Bellona bound for Shetland Islands and Norway according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 27 February 1836

An item reported that the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Bellona (1) got a new destination. In April was she commanded by captain Van Son to make a voyage towards Hitland [Shetland Islands] and Norway with on board prince Willem Frederik Hendrik and rear-admiral Arriens. In July was she to return in the Netherlands and fitted out for her voyage towards the Dutch East Indies.

Not a corvette but a frigate 2nd class, laid down at the navy yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands July 1819, launched 1 October 1823, commissioned 1 June 1825, decommissioned 31 August 1842, examined in 1843, broken up at Willemsoord, Netherlands May-September 1850, displacement 1.460 tons and an armament of 44 guns.
