American whaler Robin Hood lying on 14 April at Hobart, Tasmania according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 5 July 1859

A letter written by captain McGinley on board of the Robin Hood of Mystic on 14 April at Hobart Town, Tasmania reported a catch of 500 barrels whale and 50 barrel sperm oil. They intended to depart on the 19th towards the Arctic Ocean.(1)
