Russian sloop Razboynik visiting Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 5 September 1895

An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 5th reported the departure of the Russian warship Razboynik captain Grigovovitch towards Aden, Jemen.(1)

1. Or Razboinik, sloop in Russia mostly called a clipper, Laid down at Nevaki in 1877, launched in 1879, completed in 1880 and scuttled on 2 January 1905. With a crew numbering 185 men and an armament consisting of 3-6” guns, 4-4.2" guns, 4/6-1 pd revolvers and 1-15” torpedo tubes.
