American ship Fairfield arrived damaged due to gale at New York, USA according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 24 November 1858

A sea tiding dated New York 10 November reported the arrival of the American ship Fairfield captain Hathaway coming from Rotterdam and which was damaged during a gale on 25 October including loosing sails and rigging.
