Russian bark Mercurius underway from England the Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 12 January 1854

An item reported the arrival at Vlissingen, Netherlands for wintering on 22 December 1853 of the Russian bark Mercurius master J. Halin loaded with salt and oil coming from Liverpool, England bound for Rotterdam, Netherlands. Tonnage 422 tons and draught 5,00 metres.
