Dutch corvette Zr. Ms. Argo in the Dutch East Indies harassed by diseases according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant Thursday 3 April 1851

An item dated Middelburg, Netherlands 2nd referred to tidings received from Den Helder, Netherlands reporting that that the crew of the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Argo was harassed by diseases in such manner that more as 70 men were lying in the hospital and already five dead.(1)
