Neptune-class. Preceded the St. Vincent-class and was on her turn succeeded by the Colossus-class. Her building was ordered under the 1908 Naval Estimates, laid down at the Portsmouth Dockyard on 19 January 1909, launched on 30 September 1909, commissioned on 11 January 1912 and broken up in September 1922.
Displacement 19.900-22.000 (full loaded) tons and as dimensions 166 x 26 x 8,2 metres or 546 x 85 x 27 feet. The Parsons steam turbines direct driven via 4 shafts and 18 Yarrow boilers delivered 25.000 shp/19.000 kW allowing a speed of 21 knots. With a speed of 10 knots was her range 6.330 nautical miles. Her crew numbered 756 men/ The armour consisted of a 8”/20cm (upper)-10”/25cm thick belt, 5&8”/ 13&20cm thick bulkheads with the conning tower, gun turrets and barbettes protected by respectively 11”/28cm, 11”/28cm and 9”/23cm thick armour. The armament consisted of 5x2-12”/30,4cm breech loading Mk XI guns, 12x4”/10,16cm breech loading Mk VIII guns and 3-18”/46cm torpedo tubes, the latter in a later stadium removed.
