Japanese battle cruiser Haruna (1912) in 1923
Launched in 1913, completed in 1915. Displacement 27.500 tons, horsepower 64.000 hp, coal-oil fired turbine machinery and an armament of 8-14” guns, 16-6” guns, 4-12pd anti aircraft guns and 8 submerged torpedo tubes.(1)

1. Brassey‘s naval and shipping annual 1923. Dimensions 653,5 x 92 x 27,5 feet. Built at Kobe, Japan. Armour consisted of 1-6”8” belt, 2.75” thick deck, main guns protected by 10” and the secondary armament by 7” thick armour. Speed 27.5 knots. Coal bunker capacity 1.000 ton. Her crew numbered 980 men.
