An item referred to the Revista Marina dated November 1937 reporting that the former Dutch steamship Patria of the merchant shipping Rotterdamsche Lloyds was commissioned in the Russian navy as the training ship Svir.(1)

1. Built at the Dutch shipyard Kon. Mij. De Schelde, Vlissingen, Netherlands in 1914-1918 and sold in 1935 to Russia. Rebuilt and commissioned in 1953 as the passenger ship Aleksandr Mozhaisky and finally broken p in 1979.
