French navy interested in super destroyers according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1924 no. 2

An item referred to the magazine Naval and Military Record dated 26 December 1923 reporting that in French navy more and more people were interested in building 2.700 ton super destroyers with as horsepower 57.000 ahp and a speed of 35 miles. The armament was to be 5-15cm guns in the gun arrangement as in the past on board of the German Kaiser-class battleship make it possible to shoot with 3 guns over the bow forwards and with 4 guns over the stern. It was believed that such a destroyer was a real opponent for many light cruisers.
