An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated 15 June 1937 reporting that the Greek navy despite the very good trial performances was dissatisfied with the 4-around 1.300 destroyers built in 1931-1932 in Italy.(1)

1. The Condouriotis (28 August 1931), Psara (1932), Spetsai (1932) and Ydra (21 October 1931), all launched at Odero, Italy and based on the design of the Italian Freccia-destroyers. Displacement 1.389 (standard)-2.050 (full load) tons. Trial speed over 40 knots bit was speed was impossible to obtain in practice for a period of time.
