US Navy still using lattice or cage masts according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1911-1912 no. 3

An item reported that despite earlier tidings that the lattice or cage masts used in the US Navy were not a success due to serious vibration, those masts not were removed but even that the armoured cruisers were to be fitted out with this kind of masts.
