The proposed American defence of the Panama Canal according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 4

An item reported that if the US Congress approved the needed budget - which was doubtful- was the Panama Canal to be defended by 10-35,5cm guns, 12-15cm guns, 28-30,5cm mortars and 1-12cm howitzers.
