British torpedo boats TB 33-34 launched at Hebburn according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1909-1910 no. 3

An item referred to the Moniteur de la Flotte reporting that at Hebburn on 22 February two British torpedo boats were launched with a displacement of around 270 tons and as dimensions 56,4 x 5,6 metres. The oil-fired 4.000 hp Parsons turbines machinery allowed a speed of 26 miles.(1)

1. This must be the TB 33-34, laid down respectively in January and February 1908 at Hawthorn Leslie, Hebburn, both launched on 22 February 1909, the first in June and the second one in August 1909 delivered and sold in respectively in April 1922 and May 1921.
