Building at the shipyard Kon. Mij. De Schelde, Vlissingen ordered on 1April 1876. Laid down by burgomaster Winkelman with yard number 1 on 17 June 1876, in the thrushes on 5 August 1876, launched on 28 October 1876, delivered on 27 December 1876, far from successful when fitted out from Vlissingen, later transferred to Middelharnis, Netherlands and finally sold due to the disappointing results to the firm Jos&L. Crabeels, Antwerp, Belgium, renamed Leopold and wrecked on the Banjaard on 5 April 1882. Dimensions 80 x 20,5 x 11,5 (hold) Amsterdam foot. Deadweight 157 ton. Her building was in fact also a huge loss for the shipyard. The order was accepted for ƒ 13.000 but the actual costs were much higher causing a loss of ƒ 4.532,66.
