Armament consisted of 14-7” Armstrong guns in the battery and 1-7” Armstrong gun fore and one aft. Horsepower 900 nhp. Built by Napier&Sons, Glasgow, Scotland in 1864. Crew numbered 300 men (included 25 officers), should be 640 men.
