Italian department of navy reorganized according to the Dutch magazine Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 2

An item reported the reorganisation of the Italian department of navy on 1 January. The technical sections included the administration of each service were now united with one responsible head instead of a head for the technical and a head for the administrative sections. Further more were the sections responsible for the personal affairs of officers, sailors and civilians united under one head in stead of separate heads. This was to done to prevent discussions and different interpretation of the rules. A similar reorganisation was earlier completed at the department of war.
