An item reported the launching on 22 January at the naval arsenal at Lisbon, Portugal of the Portuguese destroyer Douro with a displacement of 670 tons and as dimensions 73 x 7,3 x 2,1 metres. The Parsons-turbines supplied 11.000 hp allowing with the 3 screws a speed of 28 miles. The armament consisted of 1-10cm gun, 2-7,5cm guns and 2 torpedo tubes. Wireless telegraphy device and 2 50cm searchlights (1 fore, 1 aft).(1)
