HMAS Hobart
An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau dated August 1928 reporting that at Sydney, Australia in February 1928 the 6.000 tons aircraft carrier Albatross (1) was launched. Horsepower 12.000 hp. Despite her limited dimensions offered the flight deck a good landing platform for planes due to the greatly improved braking devices.

Laid down at Cockatoo Docks and Engineering Company, Australia on 16 April 1926, launched on 23 February 1928, completed on 21 December 1928, transferred to the Royal British Navy as part of the payment for the Leander-class light cruiser HMAS Hobart, sold to merchant shipping in 1946 and finally broken up at Hong Kong in 1954.
