British destroyer HMS Attack performed well during trials to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1912-1913 no. 4

An item referred to the German magazine Schiffbau reporting that the British destroyer HMS Attack built by Yarrow achieved at the 8 hours trial a speed of 30,6 miles which was 2,6 miles above the contracted speed. She was fitted out with Brown-Curtis turbines, 2 shafts and 3 water tube boilers of the latest type with super heaters.(1)

1. Of the Archeron-class, preceded by the Acorn-class and succeeded by the Acasta-class. Launched at Yarrow&Company, Scotstoun, Scotland with yard number 1297 on 12 December 1911 and sunk in the Alexandria Roads, Egypt on 30 December 1917 when torpedoed by the German submarine SM UC-34
