French battleship Bouvinet executed with success her trials according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1895-1896 No. 6

An item referred to the magazine le Yacht reporting that the French battleship Bouvinet executed on 26 and 27 June her official trial with natural draft with excellent results, Furthermore were with success the 30,5cm guns and the turrets tested. On 4th July was the official trial with forced draft. The achieved speed was satisfying. The too high temperatures in the boiler rooms made it nearly impossible to work and adjustments were necessary.(1)
