Swedish steamship Algol sunk after hitting a mine according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijsch handelsblad dated 15 December 1939

An item dated Stockholm, Sweden 13th reported that the Swedish steamship Algol hit south of Fasterbö in Swedish territorial waters a mine sunk. Seven men of her crew were wounded. At the time the incident occurred was a pilot on board of the ship.
