Austro-Hungarian Ersatz Monarch-class dreadnoughts were to be armed with 35,6cm/14” guns according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 6

An item reported that the next dreadnought for the Austro-Hungarian navy now being designed were to be armed with 5x2-35,6cm/14” L/45 Skoda guns on the centreline with a weight of 70.000 kilo. It should be possible to fire with all guns in one broadside salvo. A deck armour against the machinegun fire of aircrafts was considered and further more anti balloon guns. These measures caused an increased displacement of at least 25.000 tons.(1)
