An item reported the sighting on 16
November 1950 of the Czechoslovakian flagged Express tug Karlice on the Elbe
river in East Germany while towing 3 closed loaded barges. In contrary to a
Czechoslovakian flagged tug sighted on 12 November was the Karlice not guarded
by Soviet soldiers.
