An item reported the construction of a
canal connecting the Danube and the Tisza or Thedsa starting at Dunaharaszti,
below Budapest, Hungary via Kecskemét ending at Uj-Kecake. Under the so-called
Three Year Plan was preliminary work already completed. The canal could be used
by ships.
