Built by C. Appelo, Zwartsluis, Netherlands in 1918. Fishery vessel VN53 until 1946 wit as homeport Vollenhoven, Netherlands, as LE99 with as homeport Lemmer to 1955, than as VD24 with homeport Volendam, Netherlands until 1963 and in 1963 converted into a yacht called ‘t Zeekalf.
