The Chinese Shanghai Shipyard Kiangnan according to a CIA report dated November 1969

An item reported that the Chinese Shanghai Shipyard Kiangnan was a combination of a construction, repair and maintenance shipyard and built several warships for the Chinese navy like W and R classes submarines and Kiangnan-class destroyer escorts and further more merchant ships including harbour crafts. The shipyard was able to build large merchant ships.
