Of the Hekla-class consisting of the Hekla, Gejser and Hejmdal. Laid down at the Navy Yard Dock, Copenhagen, Denmark on 9 May 1889, launched on 28 November 1890, commissioned in 1891, submarine tender since 7 January 1914, lodging and station ship since 1915 and decommissioned in 1954.
