Czechoslovakian shipyards building tugs for Bulgaria according to a CIA report dated 20 July 1951

An item reported that the Council for Mutual Economic Aid or CEMA intermediated in the purchase by Bulgaria from 9-1.000hp diesel driven and 7-800hp steam driven tugs built by the Skoda shipyards at Komarno, Czechoslovakia, [Slovakia} and to be used on the Danube and in the Black Sea. The tugs were ordered by the USSR and seemed to be paid with oil produced by the Austrian wells at Zistendorf at that moment still Soviet possession. Czechoslovakian shipyards were at that moment building more tugs for Bulgaria.
