Several new Russian warships sighted at Leningrad, Russia according to a CIA report dated 15 March 1957

An item reported the sighting of several apparently new naval warships at the shore side of the floating dry dock lying in the basin immediately north of the Zhdanov shipyard, south Leningrad [nowadays St. Petersburg], Russia. Three similar large vessels with ‘strikingly’ high bows and large radar antennas in the masts were berthed side by side with their bows outward pointing. Submarines were not seen.
