Het IJ, Amsterdam, Netherlands 19 August 2010

An item dealing with the observed activities period between 21 November-1 December 1956 reported that in the month December 1956 several naval ships were seen in the harbour of Kronstadt, Russia. Between some barges and a couple of small floating cranes was a medium size naval ship anchored. She was possible fitted out with a small mast forward of the aft tunnel although the break was not visible. Furthermore were one old naval vessel with two tall, thin funnels and a vertical and a square-rigged sailing vessel probably serving as a training ship seen. The latter ship was called Selev (1) or something like that. Strange enough were hardly any ships seen in the harbours of Kronstadt and Leningrad.
